Use the catchment highlight to check the intended storage or consumer. Physical proximity alone is not a useful test.
Loading targets and terminal selections are configured per stop. Inspect the source for empty pickups and the destination for failed deliveries.

The warehouse itself does not need road access. It must be inside the station’s cargo catchment. Trucks still need a usable route to their stop. Warehouse rules
A specialized module holds one cargo type at a time. A module set to crude oil is not also a fuel store. Check its selected item in Stocks. Module rules
Fish uses the Goods specialization. Grain uses Bulk, crude oil and fuel use Liquid, and logs use Flatbed. Match the actual item before choosing a module. Cargo type table
That is not a storage fix. The official API documents that forcing unloading into a compatible full input stock destroys the excess cargo. Resolve the capacity or consumption problem first. Official behavior
